Talib Kweli shared his thoughts on Caitlyn Jenner ahead of her Arthur Ashe Courage Award acceptance at the ESPYs, and the famed rapper doesn't believe that Jenner would be as revered if she were black.

"With all due respect to the transgender community, I highly doubt that a black person who came out as transgender would be getting the props and accolades from mainstream media."

The famed rapper then went on to share his thoughts about Maria Sharipova getting more endorsement deals than Serena Williams, despite the Compton-born athlete having more accomplishments to her name. Talib believes that society devalues people of color, and he adds that the people who are talking down about Serena now are the ones who are going to look foolish in the future.
