Earl Sweatshirt has built up a name for himself since being introduced to the Hip Hop world with Odd Future a few years back, but the West Coast emcee told fans that he's thinking about switching up his name.
The "Burgundy" emcee told his Twitter followers, "im finna change my rap name lol. dead ass. it's not about hating my past I just found a flight name that makes me laugh more than earl sweatshirt does."
This comes after Earl called Odd Future his "teenage boy club" that he wasn't trying to be defined by for his entire career. He also added, "Right now, I'm really trying to set my own two feet down as me. The OF thing follows you–it's viral–even though not one thing I've done in the past couple years has been focused on OF."
