Preliminary autopsy results were released for Bobbi Kristina Brown, which showed no obvious signs of death. The medical examiner released a statement about the autopsy, and explained that Brown's cause of death will not be revealed until all necessary tests are completed and all related documents are received and reviewed.

The examiner also revealed that the autopsy findings will be difficult to analyze, given that she didn't immediately die after being found unresponsive on January 31st.

"The time which has elapsed between the initial event on January 31st and her resulting death will complicate reconstruction of the events surrounding her initial unresponsiveness. Interpretation of autopsy findings and other information will also be challenging. However, an autopsy could be helpful to address questions which may arise about the cause of her unresponsiveness and eventual death."

Following Bobbi Kristina's death on Sunday, a homicide investigation was launched and the 22-year-old's boyfriend Nick Gordon has been named as a person of interest.
