UPDATE #2: It looks like Breezy didn't make it in time for his show in Hong Kong because he never left the Phillippines in the first place.

Though reports yesterday stated Chris Brown was able to board his private jet and fly to the Chinese city, NBC News is saying he was denied yet again before takeoff. More details have surfaced about the promoters in question that are demanding he pay up for a show he missed, and it seems the "politically powerful church group" Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ) paid him $1 million beforehand for the performance.

Immigration bureau spokeswoman Elaine Tan has informed media outlets of the situation, telling them Brown has yet to apply for clearance to leave. A few hours ago, Brown posted the video above from his room via Instagram, pleading for President Obama's assistance.

UPDATE: According to TMZ, Chris Brown's lawyers have sorted out the issues between Breezy and two separate promoters, giving him permission to leave the Philippines.

He's currently on his way to his show in Hong Kong, which he may miss due to his flight being delayed.

Just a week after his home was invaded by burglars, Chris Brown is already facing more troubles - this time it's over a contract dispute in the Philippines.

According to promoters in the Asian country, Breezy never appeared for a show he was set to perform at on New Year's Eve last year. After the Philippines leg of his tour Tuesday night, the "X" singer tried to depart from the country the following morning, but was barred from doing so by the Philippine Department of Justice. The promoters were granted their wishes and Brown may not be able to leave until he pays them their money.

Chris Brown was headed to Hong Kong when he was blocked from getting on a private jet at the Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. As stated by CNN, Chris and his promoter John Michael Pio Roda could seek a clearance certificate.

Yesterday the award-winning artist posted to Instagram addressing his problems. "No one knows what I deal with on a day to day," he wrote in the lengthy caption. "I just wanna stay out the way and do music. Most importantly and great father. I don't have any more patience for anything that will cause me to self destruct!!" Read the rest in the gallery.
