The NYPD and FBI has cracked down on members of the Outlaw Gangster Crips gang in Brooklyn with the arrest of 20 of its members for drug charges well as white collar crimes.

According to NBC New York, U.S Attorneys released a 75-count indictment against the gang members that included crimes committed in Brooklyn, as well as ones in Norwich, Connecticut, and Martinsburg, West Virginia. Some of the crimes committed happened between October 2013 and July 2014 like drug deals, robberies, gang shootouts and stolen money orders.

One of the more puzzling crimes was the stabbing of a man for listening to rapper Bobby Shmurda. The "Hot Boy" artist is allegedly a part of a rival gang.

In the first gang arrest this week, members of the Van Dyke money gang were  jailed for switching the amounts payable on the money orders, leaving banks on the east coast at a loss of $1 million.

During the Brooklyn raid, weapons and drugs were also seized near Linden Boulevard and New York Avenue.
