Police are reporting that the girlfriend of former Buffalo Bills player Buster Barnett kidnapped and killed the athlete's wife and then turned the gun on herself.

Clayton County revealed that Lisa Brown came to Sandra Barnett's home on Wednesday afternoon in a Dodge Durango belonging to the Buster Barnett. They added that Sandra was on the phone with a friend when Lisa Brown showed up at her home and was forced into the SUV.

Authorities spotted the Durango the following day and a pursuit ensued, which spanned from Georgia into Alabama. The vehicle then stopped in the middle of Interstate 20, where Lisa Brown turned the gun on Sandra Barnett and then herself.

Police say Buster Barnett and Lisa Brown were involved in an affair for years, but did not reveal any other detaills about their relationship.

Brown has previously been arrested for kidnapping her child after losing custody. Clayton County Police Capt. Richard Gandee revealed, "Lisa Brown was actually on probation for kidnapping out of the state of Texas. She had kidnapped her child that she had lost custody of, and the jurisdiction down there had to track her for like three days to find her."
