During the Premios Juventud (Youth) Awards ceremony last night (July 16), Pitbull stated "Cuidate del Chap, papo!" - which translates to watch out for El Chapo - during his acceptance speech for "Top Urban Performer." The awards show aired on the American-Spanish channel, Univision, the company that led the "Boycott Trump" movement by dropping Trump's Miss USA pageant after his racially charged comments towards Mexican immigrants.

As a rapper of Cuban descent who upholds hispanic culture, this was not the first time Pitbull has spoken out against Trump's "ignorant" remarks. During an interview with Jorge Ramos on Fusion's America, Pitbull said he will not stay at any Trump-owned hotels in the near future. "Due to what's been said, I wouldn't be able to. I can't, just for the simple fact that you're talking about a culture that I ride, I die for. This culture is the only reason I'm having this conversation right now," asserts the Miami rapper.
