Lil Herb is set to release his highly anticipated mixtape Balling Like I'm Kobe some time in August 2015, and the Chicago emcee spoke exclusively to VladTV about the project. One of the more interesting facts he dropped was about the title, which Herb said is about his friend that passed away, not Kobe Bryant.
"Balling Like I'm Kobe is special to me, because I named it after my homie Jakobe who got killed. It ain't named after Kobe Bryant, but Kobe Bryant was 'Kobe's favorite player."
Speaking more on the project, Lil Herb spoke about possible big name features like Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill, but he later decided that it was best that he hold out on the bigger rappers when he puts out an album.
