When Chris Brown's home was robbed and ransacked by three unidentified men early Wednesday morning, the R&B star was in Hollywood hosting a highly-publicized pre-ESPY party. Today, the police are saying the burglars knew of Chris Brown's whereabouts and may have visited him in his new home well before the robbery.

The robbers - who held Chris' aunt at gunpoint during the invasion - began their quest around 2:00, the same time Brown was spotted leaving the Argyle venue. Apparently the masked men told his aunt that they knew where he was, which is why they needed to move quickly.

The cops of the investigation have reported their belief that the home invaders knew the "Fortune" singer and may have been aware of his San Fernando Valley home's layout beforehand. According to TMZ, Chris had "a bad habit of inviting random people from the clubs to his home."

Chris Brown has yet to comment on what has taken place, but he did post a photo to Instagram after the incident, writing "when God handles everything there is no need being anything less than great."
