Back in 2002, the now infamous comedian Bill Cosby was given the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his contributions to society. Since the news of his rape allegations made the news worldwide, over 11,000 people have signed a White House petition to have his medal revoked, while many have voiced their opinions on the matter at hand. Next up, we have President Barack Obama adding his two cents, and regardless of if Cosby is guilty or not, POTUS does not support rape in any case.

Barack Obama did not care to speak on the actor's multiple cases directly and said "there's no precedent for revoking a medal," but did make a statement that bellowed against Cosby's actions if proven true. "I'll say this: if you give a woman - or man for that matter - without his or her knowledge, a drug, and then have sex with that person without consent, that's rape," he declared during today's press conference (July 15). "And I think this country, any civilized country, should have no tolerance for rape."
