Action Bronson took to Twitter early Sunday to clear up his recent interview on ESPN where he was suspected of dissing Ghostface Killah.

During the "Baby Blue" rapper's appearance on ESPN's SportsNation, Action was asked the tiring question about similarities to the legendary rapper. He didn't give much attention to it, but noted that he was influenced by him.

"I think it's indifferent to me at this point," he said. "People are going to make comparisons regardless... And I'm just glad it's one of the greats."

The rapper has acknowledged the comparisons in the past along with Ghostface Killah, who jokingly admitted to mistaking Action's voice for his own. When co-host Max Kellerman mentioned he enjoyed Ghostface more, Action said. "[Ghostface] isn't rapping like this no more."

After facing criticism for his comments, the rapper tweeted that Ghostface was his idol and wouldn't speak negatively about him. He also called the questions about his idol "poor journalism."
