In mid-April, filmmaker Cle "Bone" Sloan took to the stand in Suge Knight's trial and told everyone that he would not snitch on the rap mogul. "I screwed up and Terry's dead" Sloan tearfully admitted. And though he refuses to identify that it was Suge that ran him over, the judge is not budging - the murder trial will reportedly continue on.
On Tuesday (July 7), Superior Court Judge Stephen A. Marcus ruled that Suge Knight will still stand trial. Thomas Mesereau - Suge's attorney - was cited stating Sloan's "changing story showed he wasn't credible," but the judge alluded to the fact that "he doesn't say that it's not him." "The only person who had a motive was Suge Knight."
Marion "Suge" Knight is currently being held on a $10 million bail, despite the rumor that boxing champ Floyd Mayweather would post it for him.
