A$AP Rocky has reflected on his past comments on singer Rita Ora, calling them tasteless in an interview with The Guardian.

The Harlem-bred rapper discussed his music, working with Rod Stewart and life since losing his late friend Steven Rodriguez, widely known as A$AP Yams.

Since the release of his album, At.Long.Last.A$AP, the rapper has stayed busy by performing, working on his new art agency AWGE and promoting the coming-of-age comedy, Dope. With all of his new projects in the works, the rapper is hopping fans can take him seriously with his fashion and musical choices.

"It's a fun song, [but] I didn't want to be remembered as just that," he said about one of his biggest singles, "F***** Problems." "That was my biggest song. Like man, I've got to wipe that off my record it's like I'm not that guy any more. I was 22, 23 at the time – I was just having fun."

Another song that he showed regret for were the lines targeted at Rita Ora in "Better Things." After revealing his brief relationship with the singer, he took several shots at the on the track. Rocks says he's learned to own up to his comments but knows he could have handled their issues differently.

"The Rita thing was tasteless of me," he said. "[But] I've got to stand by it, because I did it. I said it. Who gives a f*** about who I'm f******? Nobody really cares. It's fun to hear, but who really gives a f*** about who Rita Ora's f*****?"
