Rapper and activist Talib Kweli gave his thoughts on the levels of white privilege and more during after an encounter with a fan on Twitter Sunday morning.

The debate began when a fan declared the classic show "The Jeffersons" should be removed off the air because of its' satirical jokes on racism. This week, TV Land removed all syndicated program of another classic show, "Dukes Of Hazzard", for its' likeness to the Confederate Flag.

After the fan labeled the show racist, Talib tweeted the shows couldn't be compared and says the instance was another attempt to cover the real problems today--the Charleston shooting and several other black churches burned to the ground in past few weeks.

While many of his Caucasian fans tried to claim they don't see "honky" and "cracker" (jokes made in "The Jeffersons,") as derogatory terms, the rapper uses the tweets to show their white privilege. He also added that not all Caucasian Americans are racist but ignoring the current racial divide in the country isn't helping the problem.
