Kendrick Lamar faced scrutiny from political pundits over his BET Awards performance, but has one rapper in his corner--Waka Flocka Flame.

On Saturday morning, the rapper took to Twitter to be open and honest about his original reception of Kendrick's critically acclaimed album, "To Pimp A Butterfly." After admitting to hating on the album, the rapper says another listen (and more likely the current racial tension in America) has caused him to see the record in a new light.

"I can't stop pushing repeat." he tweeted with several emojis.

This week, Kendrick's performance of "Alright" was picked apart by Geraldo Rivera on his FOX News show, "The Five." Geraldo and several other contributors claim the rapper's lyrics were inciting teens to rebel against authority and were more damaging than racism. They also said him standing on defaced police car will force others to do the same.

Kendrick has replied to the backlash, citing the endless police killings and current Charleston massacre have made people speak out in good and bad form, not his music.
