Just a month after he was given a place in the 2015 XXL Freshman Class, rapper Kidd Kidd was arrested outside of the Best Buy Theatre where he was scheduled to perform. After being apprehended by police outside of the Freshman concert, 50 Cent took over for his G-Unit signee and performed an entire set. Now the Southside emcee has promised to pay off Kidd Kidd's bail, though he will have to remain behind bars until his next court appearance.

Kidd Kidd was arrested for allegedly assaulting and strangling a woman during a domestic dispute, charges his lawyer Scott Leemon calls "totally baseless." "They were made 4 months later by a woman who has a history of making false allegations against Mr. Stewart. We are confident once the District Attorney's office investigates the matter, Kidd Kidd will be vindicated," he expressed to XXL.

As Kidd Kidd awaits his next hearing on July 6, 50 Cent has taken to Instagram to show love for his incarcerated affiliate. Posting a "Free Kid Kidd" tee, Curtis asks his fans to get the limited edition shirts while they can, because he plans on bailing Kidd Kidd out as soon as possible. He also posted a video detailing what happened and captioned it with "Bail money on deck."
