27-year-old model Karrueche Tran is extremely pleased that she's finally getting a chance to define herself instead of being known as "Chris Brown's [ex] girlfriend." With that, the actress is opening up more about her personal life, and during her recent interview with Madame Noire, Karrueche let's viewers in more than ever before.
After discussing her new web-series "Vanity," how she deals with Internet trolls and her latest Instagram feud with Chris Brown, Kae was asked to reveal something unique about herself. "You know, I don't think I've ever told anybody this, but my father is gay," she states, unmoved. She expresses that she never mentions it because she doesn't "realize that that's not necessarily normal." Miss Tran says she knew "something was different" about her dad as early as elementary school, though it doesn't bother her in the slightest.
She even gives some advice to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, whose patriarch recently transitioned into a woman. "God creates us how he wants to create us and you have to be accepting of people and how they want to be," she says in a sincere tone.
