Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Greeleyville, South Carolina was burned down after a passing storm Tuesday night, making it the eighth historically Black church to be set ablaze within two weeks of the Charleston church massacre.

20 years ago in June, Mount Zion AME was torched by the Ku Klux Klan, but officials are claiming Tuesday's case wasn't the work of an arsonist. CNN is reporting that the Mount Zion fire may have been caused by "heavy storms in the area" and lightning, as officials claim that they "found no accelerants at the fire scene." This took place just around 50 miles outside of Charleston, SC where Dylann Roof gunned down eight African-American churchgoers and a pastor.

Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia have all had churches burned down within the past couple of weeks, with federal officials currently undergoing numerous investigations to see if any of the fires are related. Let us know what you think about the incidents below.
