Update: Diddy, allegedly swung a kettlebell at Strength and Conditioning Coach Sal Alosi while the man was on the phone, but Alosi wasn't hit. A source close to the music mogul told TMZ Diddy was admimant about acting in self defense in the situation.


According to TMZ, Diddy was arrested on Monday (June 22) after allegedly getting into an altercation with a UCLA assistant football coach, where his son Justin plays defensive back. Campus police reportedly took the music mogul into custody after he confronted the assistant coach for getting intense with Justin on the field. 

A source close to the situation told the website that Diddy was on the sidelines and witnessed the coach "riding Justin, screaming intensely at him." The situation set Diddy off, and he allegedly grabbed the coach in his office, leading to his arrest. 

TMZ added that Diddy wanted to call the police after the incident, but the phone was taken out of his hands.
