Nicki Minaj is heading back to the silver screen alongside Ice Cube, Cedric The Entertainer and more stars for the third installment of the hit comedy, Barbershop 3.
According to Variety, "Feeling Myself" rapper will play the feisty hairdresser Draya. Other acts new to the franchise include Regina Hall, 'New Girl' star Lamorne Morris and Common.
This week, the rapper shared some behind the scenes moments with Hall, Ice Cube, Eve and Common. In one post, Minaj calls Eve and Common her "dream team." The rapper seems to be happy about her "ratchet" role in the film sharing jokes with her fans on Instagram.
Both Barbershop films have made a grand total of $140 million worldwide. Malcolm D. Lee, known for his "Best Man" movies, will direct "Barbershop 3." The film is also written by "Black-ish" creator Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver.
