Earlier this year, John Singleton, announced that he has stepped away from the anticipated biopic on Tupac Shakur, but it looks as though we'll see the rapper depicted on screen this August. Ice Cube alluded to a Tupac scene in this summer's feature film, 'Straight Outta Compton,' on his Instagram account on the slained rapper's birthday.

While there were little details given after the intial posting. It has been confirmed that actor, Marcc Rose - who bears a strong resemblance to Pac - has been chosen to portray the legendary lyricist in the film, according to Entertainment Weekly. 

The amount of screen time that'll be dedicated to the "All Eyez on Me" wordsmith has not yet been shared. In addition to his appearance, it is rumored that other actors will depict Warren G, Suge Knight, and Snoop Dogg. The N.W.A.-themed flick will hit theaters on August 14, and the feature will characterize each of the members of the classic collective.
