A 20-something white male is at large in Charleston, South Carolina after shooting up Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, the oldest AME church in the South. There were reportedly multiple fatalities, but police are not releasing the exact number.

Local pastor Thomas Dixon spoke about the incident to the media, "It's really bad. It's a very bad scene. Apparently the person just entered the church and opened fire. That part has not been fully articulated on what happened yet ... they are still looking for the suspect."

Police are describing the suspect as a man in his 20's, wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and boots. According to CNN, a man fitting the description was taken into police custody, but no word on if the man was the shooter.
