The NBA Championships came to a close during game six after the Golden State Warriors overtook the Cleveland Cavaliers in a tense game that ended in a score of 104-97.
Twitter was on fire with congratulatory messages from fellow athletes as well as celebrities, including Common, who was sure that the Warriors had secured the game before it even ended.
He wrote, "History has been made. A jump shooting team wins the championship. Congrats to the Warriors. Best team all year. #NBAFINALS @NBA."
