Many things are changing in the Kardashian-Jenner household, but one thing that's staying the same is the kids can still call Caitlyn Jenner Dad.

According to People, the family's transition has been rough but is getting better since Caitlyn - formally known as Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner - revealed herself to the world earlier this week through a Vanity Fair cover.

After making the transition from male to female, a source close to the family says Kim, Khloe, Kylie and the rest of the family are allowed to call Caitlyn dad.

"[Caitlyn] spoke to each of the kids separately and told them to take their time in getting used to this," the source stated. "She would prefer not to be called 'Bruce,' but told the kids that they could still call her 'Dad,' at least for now."

Jenner's sister Cassandra says she fully supports Caitlyn's journey and is happy to learn more about her.

"There's so much more to being a woman than our external appearance," she said. "I am really looking forward to exploring that more with her."

Her mother, Esther, much like the children says there will be mistakes made when it comes to names and pronouns but they're all trying.

"It takes some time getting used to," Esther said. "I've called [Caitlyn] Bruce since the day he was born. It's going to take some time, but I will adjust."
