Last month, Chinx was laid to rest at the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral in Queens. Hip-Hop expressed its respect for the fallen Far Rockaway lyricist, and rapper Juelz Santana even proposed a benefit concert to assist Chinx's family, while French Montana personally addressed the late Coke Boy's funeral expenses.
Outside of Hip-Hop, the 31-year old "Feelings" MC left behind a wife and two children, who will definitely miss him. Recently, Chinx's widow, Janelli Caceres-Pickens, who married Chinx in 2006 responded to Eric Mena's accusations about Chinx's alleged infidelity, and she even personally replied to the suggestion that a woman is supposedly pregnant by her late husband.
This week, Patricija Muratovic revealed that she's allegedly eight months pregnant with Chinx's son and wanted to dispel the misinformation about her relationship with Chinx.
"I understand how it seems, because of the timing in how people learned about me and Chinx and our relationship," she said while speaking exclusively with Bossip. "But please remember that the way people are hearing about this all now, is not how life happens. I met and loved Chinx and was with him without ever knowing about any other women in his life."
Although in the recent past Janelia had choice words for Patricija, she claims that she and Chinx's widow are now on good terms. "Chinx and I separated. During our separation I spoke many times with Janelli and I've come to know her to be an amazing woman."
Taking the time to truly experience the grieving process, Ms. Muratovic does not crave any media attention. She insists, "I loved Lionel. I would much rather that all of this be over. I'm still dealing with the fact that he's gone. I don't know how to deal with the rest of it."
"It doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks of me or what I had or didn't have with Chinx. What matters is that the focus be on the future. On remembering who Chinx was as an artist, as a father, as a man. I will find my peace at the end of this, I know. I pray all who knew and loved Chinx do as well," she said.
Patricija is due to deliver her son in mid-July. Hopefully, by then the NYPD will have apprehended a suspect so that his family may receive some form of justice.
