While Lil Wayne was not one of the many celebs present at Jay Z's star-studded Tidal launch party, the "Love Me" emcee was recently named as the latest co-owner of the music streaming site. In addition, Weezy surprised fans with a Tidal-only single, "Glory," which will be featured on his upcoming "Free Weezy" album.

As if Tidal subscribers weren't already being gifted enough, Wayne will be performing at a members only concert called "Tidal X." Other confirmed acts include Alicia Keys, Arcade Fire, Beyoncé, Calvin Harris, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Jack White, Jason Aldean, J. Cole, Jay Z, Kanye West, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and Usher.

Wayne released a statement about joining Tidal and being "committed to creating unique experiences for music fans around the world." He added, "TIDAL is a great way to share music directly with fans. I'm hyped for people to hear my latest track and can't wait to show fans love through a special TIDAL X."
