Joe Budden is in trouble with the law after he reportedly missed a court appearance connected to the 2014 domestic abuse case with his ex-girlfriend.

According to TMZ, an arrest warrant was issued for the rapper after missing his court appearance on Thursday. The rapper's troubles began last summer after police released photos of a 25-year-old woman with bruises and scars who says she was assaulted by the rapper after he saw photos of her on Instagram dancing with other men.

The rapper denied the allegations after police reports reveal he only twisted the woman's arm. He also taunted the police before arriving in court via social media. He also addressed the charges on Twitter last year.

"Let this be a lesson to all ... never steal a cell phone that's in your name," he tweeted. "Smh ... Justice will be served." he tweeted. "I should've known that girl was trouble when she never heard of Prince," he wrote earlier. "Neve (sic) trust a woman that never heard 'Purple Rain.'

During his last court appearance, the rapper was slammed by the judge for arriving two hours late. The rapper explained he was late due to traffic between New York and New Jersey.

The rapper has yet to reply to the arrest warrant.
