Jaden Smith kept his Superman costume in the closet for his prom date with Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg.
The actors attended Stenberg's prom on Friday with the both of the teens looking the part. Stenberg, 16, sported long grey and black braids with a copper-colored dress. Her date Jaden, 16, wore an all black ensemble. Calling the son of Will Smith a gentleman on Instagram, the two are now the target of dating rumors from their fans.
At the age of 13, Stenberg starred in the first Hunger Games film and faced scrutiny since her character Rue was depicted as a Caucasian girl in the famed books. Stenberg shook off the criticism and was welcomed with rave reviews for her performance. The teen is also known for her viral video titled, "Don't Cash Crop My Cornrows: A Crash Discourse on Black Culture," a discussion about cultural appropriation and how Americans are more infatuated with black culture than the African Americans who created it.
In little than a month, Jaden has been romantically connected with Stenberg as well as previous prom date and Tisha Campbell's niece, "Crystal Mec" Kalan.
In the past, he's also been connected to 17-year-old Kylie Jenner.
