DJ Vlad's back with a brand new episode of 'The Vlad Couch,' and in this installment he sits down with Atlanta emcee OG Maco.

The "U Guessed It" spitter speaks candidly about his involvement in the street life from an early age, explaining that he hit the streets around the age of 15, and by 17 he was making "buku bucks." However, Maco reveals that a couple of years later he was involved in a situation that left him potentially facing 20 plus years behind bars. While he ended up avoiding prison, OG Maco says he'll never forget how close he came to losing everything.

Moving on, Maco breaks down how he got his rap moniker. "Maco my name, OG the streets gave me," he explains. "I haven't had the OG that long. You can't be an OG at 17, 18."

Check out the full podcast as OG Maco gives insightful commentary on what the term OG means to him, why he hates his hit song "U Guessed It," the appropriation of Black culture by White people, Beyonce's cult-like fanbase and a whole lot more.
