"I would rather live on the street, which I did," Karrine Steffans tells VladTV, as she broaches the topic of how when she was 15 years old, the future video vixen would prefer making her own way on the streets and stripping rather than living with her mother, who she describes as a "just a horrible person and a terrible parent."  This penetrating clip delves into the troubled homelife of Karrine Steffans, who with the help of Florida law enforcement contacted her father and moved in with him in Arizona.

After the transition to Arizona, Karrine would eventually run away from her father's house, and from there she claims, "I was on my own from the age of 16; I was an underage high school stripper." As she began to amass her clientele, Karrine would meet Kool G Rap, who it turns out she was hired to strip for. A reminiscent giggle opens her comment about meeting Kool G Rap, as she recalls "I never got a chance to dance."

The published author who has learned to pen her pain then shares, "Well, the relationship had been going downhill, because it was an abusive relationship; and, it had been almost from the start." Steffans then explains that during her four-year relationship with G Rap, she agreed to abort a pregnancy because "that was something that he wanted." Being only 17 years old and aborting her first pregnancy was difficult on Karrine, who offers, "That was something that he forcefully made sure happened."

"It was a terrible, abusive, relationship. When I was pregnant with my son I was made to sleep on the floor, in the other room which didn't have a bed, so I slept on the floor for a while. He beat me often. I was hospitalized on several occasions; he was arrested," she recalls. Karrine then shares that even court-mandated anger management classes didn't help Kool G Rap control his anger.
