Kevin Durant was put in a sticky situation on Friday evening when a prescription bottle fell out of his car allegedly containing marijuana.
The former MVP was answering questions with TMZ Sports when he was waiting for his car outside of Hooray Henry's, in Los Angeles. Durant remained optimistic about his foot injury and his future with the reporters. As the player is seen opening the door to his car, a bottle falls out and paparazzo yelled, ""Uh-oh, dropping the weed!"
A member of the player's entourage quickly picked up the canister while his security attempted to brush photographers away.
Consuming marijuana in California is legal, but distributing the drug is still illegal. Lawmakers are currently working on the California Cannabis Hemp Initiative to be passed this fall to regulate the drug and its usage.
Durant has kept quiet about the incident, and has continued to push his new shoes from his collection with Nike.
