The fictional love triangle between Taraji P. Henson, Tyrese and Terrence Howard came to a head Friday night during FOX's screening party for Empire.
The Fox Los Angeles Screening Party featured the show's biggest stars and shows, including Empire actors Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. While mixing and mingling with fellow stars like Meagan Good of the the new drama, Minority Report, Henson crossed paths with her "Baby Boy" co-star Tyrese. Bryshere Y. Gray and Jussie Smollett were also present with the show's creator, Lee Daniels.
Since the success of Empire, fans have compared Henson's chemistry with both stars, with Tyrese willingly playing along on social media. In a hilarious post on Friday night, Tyrese claims Howard finally gave into the love battle by telling him to keep his hands out of his "cookie" jar.
As Deadline points out, Empire has been able to break barriers when it comes to African American lead shows. This winter, the show started their international syndication, right in the middle of the first season.
