Iggy Azalea was named as a headliner for the upcoming "Pittsburgh Pride in the Streets," but members of the LGBTQ community are boycotting the Australian-born rapper's appearance. Members of the community were already unsatisfied with the way the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh were running the event, but Iggy's inclusion set them over the edge.

A Facebook boycott page called "Shut It DOWN (No ICKY at Pride 2015)" claims that they don't want the "homophobic, racist, culturally appropriating "rapper" (term used losely [sic])" performing at the pride concert. While they didn't point out any evidence, many believe that the group is referring to unearthed tweets Iggy wrote before her fame, which you can check out in a video compilation here

After facing a wave of backlash, the Delta Foundation released a statement about choosing Iggy as a headliner.

"If we believed that Iggy Azalea was racist or homophobic, we certainly would not have selected her to headline Pittsburgh Pride. We also don't believe she would have agreed to come if she was racist or homophobic. Iggy is a highly regarded artist and female entertainer and we have received a tremendous amount of positive messages from members of the community and our allies both locally and nationally that are excited that she will be performing at Pittsburgh Pride."
