A rumor has circulated the Internet for the past few hours after a website claimed that the NYPD's SWAT team ambushed and arrested three men in connection to rapper Chinx's murder. The story was that the three men were wanted for car theft and authorities were trying to tie Chinx's murder back to them. The New York City Police Department have let us know that the rumor is "inaccurate."
We exclusively spoke to the NYPD just moments ago, and a department rep also stated that so far there have been no arrests and their investigation is still "very active."
