Many rap fans were up in arms last night when artist Iggy Azalea won Billboard's Top Rap Artist & Top Rap Song awards at the celebrity-filled ceremony. Artists in the genre haven't been very welcoming to the Australian rapper, especially after many have blamed cultural appropriation for her fame. It seems like the rift between her and other entertainers is nowhere near its end either, as rapper/actor Ice-T has decided to be next at bat and add his two cents on the situation.
"Iggy Azalea won Top Rap Artist..... I'm done," Ice-T wrote on his Twitter last night. Before he could be bashed by her millions of fans, he explained that he doesn't hate Iggy, but feels her winning Rap awards just says a lot about the hip-hop culture today.
