While Lil Wayne is currently in the midst of a major lawsuit against Cash Money, he is doing everything in his power to push the momentum for his release from the label which he was once proud to be a part of.

He's been more than frustrated with the continuous delays of his long-overdue Tha Carter V album release, and now he has taken matters into his own hands and decided to release a free album to his fans.  Just last month, Wayne released his Sorry 4 the Wait 2 mixtape, and now he's gearing up to take things a step further and release an entirely free album in the wake of his Cash Money imprisonment.

Weezy made the announcement on Twitter that he'll be dropping his next album, titled The Free Weezy Album, which will be free of charge in order to support his escape from the clutches of Cash Money.

Check out his tweets above.
