Hall of Fame inductee and now former NFL Network analyst Warren Sapp was shockingly arrested early Monday morning, February 2nd, at a hotel in Phoenix following the conclusion of the 2015 Super Bowl.

Police were alerted to a disturbance at a hotel in downtown Phoenix, where Sapp was arrested for allegedly assaulting two women, both of whom were working as "escorts" at the time of the arrest.  Apparently an argument ignited inside of Sapp's room over money, which eventually broke out into the hallway causing a great amount of disturbance for the neighboring hotel guests.  The two ladies claim that Sapp became physical with them during the altercation, and police have confirmed that they suffered minor injuries that appear to be consistent with a struggle of some kind.

Sapp admitted to soliciting the prostitutes upon questioning by the police; however, he denied laying a hand on them in a harmful manner.  Both of the women involved in Sapp's latest scandal were given citations by the officers.  One woman was given a citation for prostitution, while the other was given a citation for violating the city's escort permit.

42-year-old Sapp currently faces a maximum punishment of a $2,500 fine, 3 years' probation, and six months in jail which consists of a mandatory 15 days in jail if he is convicted on the prostitution charge.  He has since been released from jail and is due back in court on February 23rd.  Sapp has yet to comment on the arrest, and to make matters worse, he has officially been fired from his position on the NFL Network.  Prior to the big ball of prostitute-filled drama, Sapp was actually covering the Super Bowl on the NFL Network.  Spokesman for the company Alex Riethmiller, issued the following statement on Sapp's release:

"Warren Sapp's contract has been terminated and he no longer works for NFL Network."

More news to follow as Sapp's legal situation unfolds.
