The NFL just struck a deal with Bose in March, and under the terms, players and coaches can't be seen on camera wearing Beats by Dre headphones. Dr. Dre's headphone line is extremely popular with celebrities and athletes alike, and the company even featured Seahawks star Richard Sherman in a commercial this year.

An NFL spokesperson explained the situation. "The NFL has longstanding policies that prohibit branded exposure on-field or during interviews unless authorized by the league. These policies date back to the early 1990s and continue today. They are the NFL's policies -- not one of the league's sponsors, Bose in this case. Bose is not involved in the enforcement of our policies. This is true for others on-field."

According to CBS Sports, the ban also extends to training camps or off-season workout sessions where players could possibly be featured on camera.

Do you think this is fair?
