Baltimore Ravens player Ray Rice & then-fiancee Janay Palmer were caught in an Atlantic City Hotel elevator getting into an altercation where it appears Rice may have knocked her unconscious before proceeding to drag her limp body out, with the entire sequence of events being filmed by hotel lobby security cameras. The NFL will reportedly be suspending the running back for only two games over the incident.
If this is the case, Rice is facing a suspension only half as long as that faced by any player caught with the stimulant drug Adderall.
Rice and Palmer have since married.
