VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes caught up with both Young Gattas and E Hart after their epic battle at QOTR's "No Holds Barred" event at Irving Plaza.
This was the biggest show that the reigning female battle league has hosted to date, and the battles featured on the card were full of some heavy hitters. E Hart is one of the most well-respected female MCs in the sport, while Gattas has managed to prove her worth with repeatedly solid battles over the past couple of years.
This battle was a very drastic contrast in styles given that Hart spits those gritty bars that carry a heavy amount of realism to them that the crowd can always connect with, while Gattas, on the other hand, combines her bars with clever humor and very energetic and animated performances. The battle began evenly matched before Gattas suffered some unfortunate stumbles and chokes which shifted the battle in E Hart's favor.
Both Gattas and Hart spoke on how the battle played out, with E Hart solidifying a clear victory.
