Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes managed to catch up with one of the best punchline rappers in the sport, B "Mothaf***in'" Magic, after Smack/URL's epic NOME 4 event concluded.
Hughes spoke with him about his surprising performance vs. Big T, which was tainted by some unfortunate chokes in the second and third rounds. Magic joked about going completely blank when the chokes occurred, and he acknowledged that this wasn't anywhere near his best performance. Even though he had trouble in 2 out of the 3 rounds, he stated that many people still believe he got the victory.
He said that this battle angered him, and that he will take out his frustrations on his next opponent.
Magic also discussed the timed battle between Cortez vs. T-Rex, and how Clips vs. Tay Roc was postponed due to the club shutting down the event before they could square off.
