Lupe Fiasco is one of the only mainstream rappers who isn't afraid to engage professional Battle Rappers in either a battle of wits or bars online, and his most recent opponent was one of the West Coast's finest -Dizaster.

He's repeatedly gone toe-to-toe with battlers such as Rosenberg Raw, Daylyt, and also Dizaster once before in 2013, but he's also praised battlers as being some of the best rappers in the world.  His newest cyber battle was sparked after Dizaster called him out over comments that Lupe made about Kendrick Lamar.

"I f*ck with kendrick man....@LupeFiasco this fa**ot wants to always give his opinion on dudes that are light years beyond him lol," Dizaster wrote.

Lupe responded by checking Diz for using the offensive slur "fa**ot" in his tweet, and remarked how he feels there is "no room for homophobia in hip hop." The back-and-forth between Lupe and Dizaster was extensive, and probably lengthier than any of Lupe's past online Battle Rap exchanges, as he and Diz tested each other's intelligence with debates on religion, faith, and general discussions on ways of thinking.  The battle for intellectual supremacy eventually turned into a challenge of lyricism after Dizaster boasted that he could defeat Lupe easily in a battle.

This inspired Lupe to once again showcase his on-the-spot pen game against a Battle Rapper by sending tweet after tweet filled with wordplay and crafty bars at Dizaster. While Lupe definitely showed some serious lyrical skill as he always does, Dizaster didn't seem to be impressed and brushed off the bars the rapper fired at him.  Dizaster didn't respond with bars of his own, but instead continued to boast about his ability to defeat him, and also stated that Lupe's bars were an example of why mainstream rappers can't hang in the ring.

Many fans watched in awe as Dizaster and Lupe challenged each other in both intellect and lyricism and made their "tweef" (Twitter beef) one of the most highly mentioned topics globally for a brief period of time.  Check out their lengthy exchange above.

Who do you think won the debate on religion and faith?  What do you think of Lupe's bars and battle potential?  Do you think he really has what it takes to hang in a battle against the top professional Battle Rappers in the world?
