James McNair, comedian and writer has been identified as the one killed in the car accident that left Tracy Morgan in critical condition early Saturday morning.
Tracy Morgan's publicist has released a statement on Morgan's injuries and current status.
"He sustained these injuries in an accident that occurred early this morning as one of several passengers in a chauffeured SUV returning from a tour date in Delaware. His family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care. We don't anticipate much of a change in his condition today but will provide a further update once more information becomes available."
McNair, who is also known as Jimmy Mack was touring with Morgan before his death. Comedian Harris Stanton was identified as an injured victim in the car crash.
The limo bus carrying Morgan and his entourage overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike at 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
McNair was 63-years-old.
