In a recent interview with Vibe, producer DJ Mustard spoke of his production relationship with friend and frequent collaborator YG, comparing their musical chemistry to West Coast veterans Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre.
"If you really love LA music, and you love Dr. Dre, Snoop, 'Pac, you're gonna relate to this," he said. "If you love anything from Dogg Pound, you're gonna relate to this. It's that all over again...people be sayin' 'you don't ever compare yourself to Snoop & Dre' but me and YG about as close as it's gon' get."
