Kafani spoke with VladTV about how he was tragically shot five times while trying to shoot a music video, which left him paralyzed from the waist down.
The Oakland rapper explained how he was approached by a man walking towards him in an aggressive manner after he revealed he was Kafani, and knew fairly quickly that the guy had a gun on him. Kafani tried to make a run for it once the firearm was pulled out but unfortunately he was hit in his chest, neck, shoulder, and leg, collapsing to the ground.
Although he didn't feel any pain at the time that the shooting occurred, he was certain that he was going to die; however, he managed to pull through and is still on the road to recovery.
