George Zimmerman once again emerged before the general public for this very detailed interview with Chris Cuomo of CNN's New Day.  Cuomo talked to Zimmerman about everything, from his failed celebrity boxing match, to the many negative perceptions that the general public has of him, and some of George's answers are sure to raise eyebrows.

He explained how the boxing match was initially supposed to be against an individual of a lesser name, but got blown out of proportion once the title "celebrity" got thrown into the mix.  Regarding the tragic case of how he shot and killed Trayvon Martin after following Martin around his Florida neighborhood, and being beaten as a result, Zimmerman feels as though he is a victim in the case.  Zimmerman stated that he regrets pursuing Martin given all of the trouble it has brought him and his family since, but he never specifically stated that he regretted killing him.  He also believes that he has been turned into a "scapegoat" by Obama and other officials, and that the negative image that the public has of him is a result of political figures imprisoning him even though he lives free of a prison cell.
