On Monday night (January 6) Karen Civil broke news that Pusha and his brother No Malice were actually in the studio with production team The Neptunes recording an independent Clipse album, not Push's solo project we posted last week. The Virginia rapper confirmed that news by tweeting a link to the article from his own Facebook page.

The upcoming Clipse project, tentatively titled "As God as My Witness" is the Virginia duo's first studio album since "Til the Casket Drops" which dropped in 2009 to mixed reviews. This is especially huge news for fans as the group dropped their critically-acclaimed, contemporary hip-hop classic "Hell Hath No Fury" is 2006.

The two brothers have been going back and forth over a potential Clipse reunion. Last month after Pusha T revealed his brother's disinterest in making bank and getting a Clipse reunion going, No Malice has come forward to clear the air. No Malice said his newfound religion and way of living has him less concerned about Clipse-related opportunities. No Malice admits that he doesn't feel comfortable even performing Clipse's old songs anymore, which is partly why he's turned down multiple chances to perform as a group in recent months.

Just a few months later, Pharrell told MTV News that a Clipse album was definitely brewing sometime in the future, adding that he would definitely be involved in the production like old times. "I'm gonna have to find an untapped zone and just present something different that people haven't felt before," Pharrell said. "I don't know what the sounds would sound like, or what the vibes would be, but at that moment the arrow will present itself to me and I'll just listen and follow it."

Now that it's been confirmed, are you excited for a new Clipse album? Are you even that more looking forward to it with The Neptunes production? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
