Ja Rule Wants to Write Cookbook of Microwaveable Recipes

Ja Rule, who finished up a two-year prison bid back in August for tax evasion, unexpectedly stopped by Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian's SiriusXM show, "Food Talk," and talked about cooking behind bars.

Zakarian was interviewing celebrity chefs including Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, and Marcus Samuelsson during the New York City Wine & Food Festival when the Queens emcee swooped in. Like many celebs, Rule wants to write a cookbook. But in his case, all the recipes must be microwaveable.

“He explained that while behind bars he learned to cook anything and everything in a microwave,” said a source at the show, which airs Wednesday.

Ja Rule has said he made meals including lasagna and cheesecake in a jail dorm rather than eating the prison food.
