Watch out, ESPN. FOX sports is gearing up to launch its own 24-hour all-sports-all-the-time channel, Fox Sports 1.

FOX also has an NFL pregame show on the burner as well as a documentary series to rival HBO sports. Called 'Being', the first installment of the doc will debut in the fall and feature Mike Tyson.

FS1 will replace Fox's Speed channel, and their Fuel TV channel may become FS2 eventually.

Fox Sports' David Hill acknowledges that the network has a steep hill to climb before it can truly contend with ESPN.

"It's going to take us a while. We're not expecting to knock ESPN off in the first week or two. It's going to take two to three years. It will be a slog."
