Back in October when Chris Brown accompanied Rihanna to Jay-Z's Barclays Center concert the Roc-A-Fella head honcho reportedly told Breezy that he would "end his career" if he did anything cross towards Rihanna. So, it's surprising to hear Roc Nation executive Tyran "Ty Ty" Smith say that Rihanna's "Nobody's Business" duet with Chris Brown was all Jay-Z's idea.

Smith told Complex magazine, "We don't focus on the media, so it was never a question," he says. "It's all about the music. Everything else doesn't even play a part in the studio."

He also explains that The-Dream didn't write the song as a duet, but when Smith and Jay heard the song they made the decision.

"The-Dream didn't write it for them as a duet. Jay-Z and I were in the car together listening to the song, and we thought it would be a great duet. It sounds dope. It feels good. That's how Chris ended up on the song."
